National Teachers’ Conference 2026

The National Teachers’ Conference 2026 is a flagship initiative of Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED) designed to strengthen professional learning, collaboration, and innovation among educators across Nepal. Building on the success of its first edition, the conference will be organized as a series of seven provincial conferences across all seven provinces of the country by partnering with the provincial educational institutions, creating opportunities for teachers and education stakeholders to engage in meaningful dialogue on contemporary educational issues.

The conference aims to bring together school teachers, school leaders, teacher educators, researchers, policymakers, development practitioners, and industry representatives to share experiences, research findings, innovative practices, and emerging ideas in education. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, paper presentations, and interactive workshops, participants will explore practical approaches to improving teaching and learning in diverse educational contexts.

Within the framework, each provincial conference will focus on a unique theme reflecting local educational priorities and expertise, including critical inquiry and creativity, teacher wellbeing, language and multilingual education, TVET and skills development, lifelong learning, educational leadership, and indigenous knowledge systems.

By creating a platform for dialogue and professional exchange across provinces, the conference seeks to strengthen educational networks, encourage innovation, bridge theory and practice, and contribute to the development of a more relevant, inclusive, and future-oriented education system in Nepal.
