Dr. Swaroop Rawal Miss India in 1979 and the beloved Renu in the iconic comedy serial 'Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi,' boasts not only a dazzling entertainment career but also extraordinary academic achievements. She holds a Doctor of Letters and a PhD in Education from the prestigious University of Worcester, UK.

Her groundbreaking research focuses on harnessing the power of drama to enhance life skills in children with specific learning disabilities, making remarkable contributions to the field of education. Dr. Rawal plays a pivotal role in shaping education policies, serving on the Central Advisory Board of Education and the National Mission for Mentoring. Her leadership extends to chairing the Curricular Area Group on Innovative Pedagogy and contributing to Position Papers for National Curriculum Frameworks. She was instrumental in developing the '4-year B.A.- B.Ed.' Art Teachers Curriculum.

As an accomplished author of academic papers and books, including titles like "Play Practice Pursue," "Learning Disabilities in a Nutshell," and "The Life Skills Education through Drama," Dr Rawal's work has left an indelible mark on education. Her excellence extends to her recognition as a Top Ten Teacher for the Global Teacher Prize in 2019, cementing her legacy as a true luminary in the field.
