COURSE OVERVIEW

             Gender equity in the class guides teachers, teacher-educators, and policy developers who are (will be) working in University/School education to ensure gender equity. The course aims to ensure gender equity in the class by supporting participants (Module 1) by exploring contemporary gender issues and ways out in the university and school classes by developing critical perspectives (Module 2) by adapting/developing gender-responsive teaching and learning materials, (Module 3) by creating a gender-responsive learning environment, and (Module 4) by developing a gender-responsive policy. By doing so, the participants continuously ensure gender equity in their classes and develop professionally.
