COURSE INTRODUCTION

        This course provides a comprehensive understanding of philosophical, pedagogical, and practice dimensions of education within the context of library and information management. The course covers contents like conventional and Progressive library and information management perspectives (Library, Information, and Society), Library and Information Centre Management, organization of knowledge (Classification and Cataloging), and Information Source and Services; Digital technology in library and information Centre. The course has a theoretical orientation led with field-based practices.
